Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique -such as mindfulness ,or focusing the mind on a particular object ,thought or activity to train attention and awareness .
There are many types of which we teach mindfulness, loving kindness, compassion,visualisation and mindful movement .
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch.
Rei means“universal,” and Ki means “life force energy” that flows through all living things.
Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to the client through gentle “laying of hands” on the client improving the flow and balance of energy to support healing.
Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness.
Reiki aims to improve the flow of energy around and throughout the body. This can enable deep relaxation, pain relief, healing, improved mood, better sleep, improved insomnia symptoms, lowers blood pressure,
emotional well-being and reduce other symptoms of illness.
