This programme is for you if you are experiencing stress relating to overwhelm, anxiety, pain, burnout, trauma & other life events, from minor to major. This course is for you if you want to commit to making a meaningful difference in your well-being & those your share your life with.
What does this MBSR course entail?
This a a highly structured, scientifically backed programme & involves
✅2.5 hour online session once a week for 8 weeks
✅ A full day in person retreat day
✅ Daily home practice once a day for minimum 45 mins a day - it is ok to start small & build up, but a definite commitment is required.
✅ Comprehensive, yet easy to follow handbook to support you
✅ Mindfulness practices that include a variety of meditations
✅ Gentle yoga & body movement exercises
✅ Interactive exercises to develop mindful awareness & presence
✅ In depth learning of the principles of mindfulness & guidance on integrating some of the ideas & practices into your everyday life
MBSR ~ What is it?
Based on a world renowned, evidence based programme founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, this 8 week online course aims to improve emotional well-being & reduce stress & anxiety. A number of simple practices are taught by fully qualified & highly trained tutors. These practices may help you feel more at ease with yourself & your life. You are taught to recognise habitual, automatic reactions that may not serve you & respond to your own thoughts & emotions in a less judgemental & more compassionate way.
