You might have heard about EFT or tapping on social media or tv recently. It is becoming quite a popular topic these days.

But what exactly is it and how does it work??

 

Well, EFT is a mind & body technique that can be used to help with lots of things including stress, anxiety, fears, phobias, limiting self beliefs, weight, pain and so much more!!

 

It works by clearing energetic blocks in the meridian system.

 

 

What are meridians?

Meridians are like rivers of energy that run throughout the whole body. Each meridian is connected to a part of the body. When these “rivers” of energy are running smoothly all is well in the body. However when these “rivers” of energy become blocked or stagnant, illness or disease can take place.

 

 

What causes blocks in the energy?

Any previous trauma or emotional upset can cause blocks in the energy.

 

 

How do we clear the energetic blocks?

Well, we do this by “tapping” or applying pressure onto certain acupuncture points around the body. These acupuncture points are connected to the meridians. When we tap on the acupuncture points, kinetic vibrations are sent down the meridians clearing any blocks and allowing the energy to flow freely again.

 

 

Where & how do we tap?

We use our fingertips on either hand to tap with.

The tapping points are as follows..

 

Side of the hand (below baby finger)

Beginning of eyebrow

Side of eye

Under the eye

Under the nose

Chin

Collar bones

Under the arm

Top of the head
