I am a fully trained and qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher, completing my training with The Institute of Mindfulness Based Approaches. I am also a Reiki Master, an Angel healing practitioner, an EFT practitioner, a Movement Is Medicine faciliatator, a wellness for kids practitioner as well as a self published author of a best selling anxiety book for children.
I came to meditation, mindfulness, and self-care through a tough time in my life Having suffered from anxiety I found healing in MBSR and also began to see that the healing and wellness lay within if we could just learn how to access it. I believe in this wellness coming from within but also believe in traditional methods of treating mental health issues with medication, psychological input, and wellness techniques. I believe that all methods complement each other.
I have 19 years experience in the Pharmacy industry so have seen the daily stresses and strains that go on in people’s lives. I have completed an 18-month training with the Institute of Mindfulness-Based Approaches and am certified in these Mindfulness-based approaches. I have also completed Connected Kids training and am certified to teach mindfulness and meditation to children.​
